The project « European Education and Opportunities for All » was created by lycee Porte Océane in Le Havre. More than ever, it is indeed a topical issue, we have to work with just-arrived refugees and learners from ethnic minorities. A great deal of these youths, who often arrive in our school in the middle of the school year, are not French speakers and are not familiar with our school system. Moreover, 47% of the pupils who attend our institution, are granted a scholaship due to their disadavantaged background. The increasing school truancy and dropouts, the lack of ambition and their modest career choices curb these youths’ inclusion into our society .Therefore, several staff members would like to find solutions or at least to observe and discuss about these topics. Thanks to initial contacts on the eTwinning platform and several email exchanges, the Liceo Statale Galileo Galilei in Piedimonte Mateseand, Italy and the Cardiff High School, Wales are ready to welcome our staff members and to work with them.. These mobilities will enable them to attend lessons but above all to discover the life and the management of these high schools ( school administration and truancy management, guidance counsellors, health staff, managerial team, exchanges about the students’competitiveness on the labor market) . In Italy, one of the main challenges will be to think about the teaching of French as a second language. In Wales, the participants will also learn sports typical of the anglo-saxon culture ( cricket, hockey ..) which could enhance the pupils’motivation and help the inclusion of youths with fewer opportunities . Besides, it will improve the staff members competences in sport coaching and it will at least enrich their English with a technical sport glossary. Hence each of these mobilities will also help the staff members improve their skills in a foreign language. Since our vice-principal will have to communicate more and more with foreign schools within the framework of the Erasmus+ projects, this outcome is of the uttermost importance. The project coordinating team and several staff members will ensure the good implementation of the mobilities, the activities and the appropriate dissemination of the project. Thanks to several worshops and seminars with the other members form our school but also from the other schools in our city, and with the future teachers who often have interships in our establishment, this project is likely to help them deal with the difficulties they often meet and it should have a strong impact on the staff’s professionnal career . Besides several articles published in local newspapers and posted on several websites will communicate on the benefits of such a project.Besides, the building of a common European culture requires such mobilities which will enhance the skills of the staff to adapt to new working methods and various backgrounds.Communicating with emails, videoconferences and exchanges on the eTwinning platform will provide pupils with teachers with higher technological abilities and will persuade other staff members to take part into a mobility. This experience with these two partner schools will result into sustainable exchanges thanks to a school exchange with the Welsh School : the goal would be to ask our pupils to teach fencing in Wales where they would be taught cricket while discovering a new culture, new learning methods while speaking a foreign language. Within the framework of a KA2 project, we are preparing a strategic partnership with the Italian school in order to foster the inclusion of migrants with sciences by analysis water and learning to swim.
