The initial purpose that drove Seme snc to the realization of this project was definitely satisfied in meetings with professional artists of host Countries. These meetings gave birth to ideas and international collaborations. Seme snc manages and runs "Spazio Seme", an arts center daily offering many activities (contact improvisation dance, movement and improvisation, acting, singing and many others) aimed at raising awareness, training and experimentation in the artistic field. Starting from the courses and workshops that are held, up to the events that we host or produce, every action carried out inside or outside the space by members and associates, has this aim. With this Project, we had the opportunity to observe, experience and transfer the best practices - acknowledged at European level - relating to the implementation of actions, activities, cultural and artistic events in the local area. We are becoming a more and more important bench mark in the Italian and international world of performing arts. Those who took part in this project, are people who collaborate with Seme (staff members or associates) and have artistic or managerial background in the cultural area. As per our initial aim, we carried out several activities of job-shadowing, along with teaching assignments. Further to that, we observed and studied the activities carried out by selected partners, participated in plenary meetings as well as meetings with individual leaders of the various sectors, reasoning with all of them on the possibilities of cooperation that emerged during our stay and after getting to know each other’s activities and backgrounds. We learned practices to educate adults in arts and culture, as well as new methods and techniques for managing groups of adults, and new methods of events management and target-communication. We started developing ideas about future collaborations with each partner. With many of them, we already have an existing collaboration. Our presence created relationships and gave birth to new ideas and opportunities for future collaborations both among us and them, and among themselves. The arts center we run is enjoying the opening (both mental and "physical") that these experiences gave to us. We can offer higher quality trainings now. This experience has undeniably enriched us greatly.
