Educación activa para adultos en el medio rural
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our Center for Lifelong Learning "La Choza de Trasmulas" is a social project which aims to promote the local sustainable development in the rural area in the valley of Granada, with the help of adult education in three areas: environment, social participation and international exchange as a tool for local development. The main objective of this project is the development and the improvement of the quality of our educational offer, a non-formal education which is adapted to target groups with less opportunities. We want to train our personnal and team of educators and trainers in a wide range of innovative methodologies of non-formal and active education, and introduce the acquired knowedge and competencies in future activities of our Center. Between October 2015 and December 2016 we will send 20 educators and trainers of adult education with different professional profiles (social educators and social workers, teachers, psycologists, political scientists, ...) as well as other personnel implicated in the educational activities of our Center, to ten training courses on innovative methodologies of non-formal adult education in nine European countries. The forseen short-term impact is an improvement of knowledge and competencies in methodologies of non-formal education, adapted to target groups with less oportunities, and focused on the topics of our Center. We also expect raising the motivation of our personnel and the trainers for their educational work and for language learning, their initiative and implication in improvement processes of our educational programme as well as fostering their capacity of reactivity and flexibility in different situations, especially dealing with the social and cultural diversity of our target groups. In the medium- and long-term we expect broadening our range of activities and improving the quality of the educational offer of our Center, and adapt it better to the needs of different groups with less opportunities. We want to create a more modern, dinamic and open environment that welcomes diverse and international target groups. Participating in this project also offers the opportunity to foster our cooperation with the ten receiving organisations of the training courses in nine European countries. A part from the unic opportunities of learning, the belonging to a European network and the exchange with professionals of adult education who are working in similar areas with similar objectives can give us a lot of power for our local work!
