The project will be realized at the countryside, in a school organization which offers wide range of activities for meaningful spending of leisure time of children, parents and youth up to 30 years of age. The aim of the project is to make leisure time activities for all age categories more attractive and variable, thanks to volunteers from foreign countries who bring new ideas, ways of work, viewpoints and fight stereotypes and prejudices and have a positive influence on the overall atmosphere in our organization. Another goal is to introduce and popularize EVS and the idea of volunteering and try to engage more young people from our area in the voluntary work. Two volunteers were chosen from all the candidates to participate in this project according to our requirements for work in our organization. These are mainly characteristics and skill such as communicative skills, active attitude, responsibility, creativity, good relationship with children, and we also take into account the experience in organizing events. Project activities will take place mostly in our village but also in neighbouring villages. The volunteers will help with organizing of regularly trainings and courses, organizing and preparation of occasional and recreation activities and events, promotion of our activities, spreading the idea of EVS and volunteering as such, updating of our website, and also other activities in our organization. They can work in various areas: culture and art – folk dance, modern dance, playing the accordion, drama, singing, choir; sports – football, karate, ball games, swimming, basketball, hockey, hiking; informal language education – German language, English language, Spanish language; technical area – art and craft activities, cooking, folk crafts; science area – know and preserve, young natural scientist. They can also take part in occasional events such as trips, competitions, workshops, exhibitions and presentations. We are going to use methods – verbal, visual, demonstrative, practical activities, motivation, assessment – diagnostic, observation, comparison and interview. The realization of the project will be useful for volunteers who will have a chance to improve their competences in many areas of life and acquire new ones through intercultural learning what will help them to get the right directions for their professional life and increase their “market price”. They will get to know new country, meet new friends, gain knowledge, experience and skills, learn to solve conflicts and be patient, reliable and autonomous. All these will have a positive influence on the development of their self-esteem and self-confidence and their overall personal development. The volunteers will bring new ideas, creativity and different culture to our organization, which will be spread through us to our children and youth. This will increase the value of our organization form the public point of view and that can raise the number of participants on our activities and better evaluation of our work. The long terms benefits for all participants are the contacts they can make and use in the future, they will gain new knowledge, skills, experience, form various opinions and attitudes useful in their lives and also the awareness of opportunities of Erasmus programme in informal learning will increase significantly.
