The main project's aim is to spread, increase and connect at a European high quality level, artists and organizations dealing with artistic practices in disadvantaged context.The project consists in organizing two edition of the European EDGE FESTIVAL, which will be a bridge between 2010 European Year Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, and 2011 European Year of Volunteering. It will also promote a series of different theatre and art EDGE WORKSHOP, producing a contemporary European drama project called METERIKON, and support production of new artistic projects dealing with social inclusion. The project in its activities will also integrate disadvanteged people as women at risk of exclusion, homeless, prisonsers, ex prisoners and actors with mental disease; it will also promote the involvement of Eastern European countries and Mediterrean areas.
