E- facilitators are at the center of the fight against the digital divide. They work in many different areas to be close to the main target groups such as: youth, job seekers, seniors or disadvantaged. They should mobilize very diverse skills and knowledge both technical (ICT) and teaching. These should be adapted to beneficiaries of various levels of qualification, including very low levels. Unfortunately, their recognition is very unbalanced or non-existent in European countries. In most cases it is not even considered as a profession, but more like a set of skills added to other specialities as : librarian, teacher, social worker. When it is recognized as a profession there is often no diploma or special training. If certificates exist, they can enter in competition between each other. E- facilitators then receive no recognition , or have an uncertain recognition. Working conditions of e- facilitators and quality of service provided by them are therefore often poor. Illustrating the situation is the fact that in Europe, heterogeneous positions exist in terms of recognition initiatives of skills of the e-facilitator, eg. in Catalonia and Emilia-Romagna, where the job profiles are well structured and recognized by the competent authorities ( within the region) . These examples could help to guide the work of other countries. To do this, it is also important to ensure the harmony of all initiatives within a common European framework permitted by ECVET . This project proposes to identify, among the countries represented in the partnership , based on the work in the project VET4e -I, the skills, knowledge and levels of responsibility and autonomy that must master an e- facilitator to allow obtaining recognition of their skills and whatever the learning process by which he obtained it . That is why we also work for the creation / adaptation of training modules based on the online professional profile created in the first phase of the project . Our partnership aims to achieve these goals using three media: 1 / use of tools developed in the context of learning throughout life as in the ECVET system to enable the recognition of both national and transnational level 2 / the organization of a strong network of partners from the project at European level , 3 / the exchange of pre- existing training tools and good practice in valuing distance learning such as: e-learning modules , workshops and an international competition. Our goal is to move towards the recognition of e- facilitators in developing the tools necessary to go a step further : Working professional profiles through a comparison matrix between profiles to organize e-learning modules consistent with ECVET recommendations based on an exchange of good practices between project partners. Our partnership is composed of active structures in pedagogy and social action, which already has previous cooperations in the field of e-learning experience, it is : - AID for Belgium. Network training center for unskilled adults and ECVET carrier expertise, AID is coordinating the project - The INFREP for France , was at the root of projects on e -learning with Fundacion ESPLAI . It has, among others, expertise innovative pedagogy and social action within e- facilitators networks. - The Fundacion ESPLAI for Spain, as mentioned above was also the bearer of the e –learning cursus and ESPLAI has increasingly worked to develop a greater valorization for the e- facilitators. - The ARCI for Italy also has expertise in developing tools for e -learning - ACDC for Romania is a key player in Romania and Europe to promote social inclusion through their involvement in various networks for digital inclusion
