Coming from a countryside school where cultural diversity is not very represented, we have to teach English in our class to children, from1st grade to 5th grade).IMrs Delort would like to participate to a training course in Great Britain, for European teachers, dealing with teaching English at a primaray level. She hopes then to increase her language skills andher capacity to communicate more easily in oral and written situations as well as broaden her knowledge of the country culturally and humanly.Professionnally, we are counting on going deeper in our reflection about how schools work (in France and in Europe), putting in place a real group dynamic and a larger coherence between the differents classs in the sector of teaching a foreign language, and enhancing our educational documentation including concrete ressources from the training course.We're expecting from this teaching-training session to create an exchange network of songs and nursery rhymes with European partners, to give an impulse to the schoolteachers and pupils so that they are motivated to communicate in a foreign language. The aim is that all the students from CM2 pass the A1 level of the European Common Framework.We also hope that the students will learn to have an open mind to other cultures and to respect them.
