Following a transnational youth initiative in 2013 named "Citizens of the World" , international links have been created between structures working in the field of youth , young people attending these structures from three countries : France ( Lorraine ) , Luxembourg and Morocco ( Marrakech region ) . 30 young people aged 15 to 25 years , from these three countries decide to cooperate in an international solidarity project for disadvantaged children in the region of Marrakech. Themselves are not socially or economically privileged young but are aware that they have nevertheless opportunities that are a luxury for others. They want action to reduce inequalities and fight against waste and overconsumption, act as " world citizens " . Upstream of the exchange , they determine the needs of different structures that cater to children ( nursery, boarding , youthhouse .... ) and organize collections and operations flow to equip these structures : the 2 groups Europe dealing with the acquisition and transit equipment , the Moroccan group its paperwork , its reception, its equitable distribution and maintenance. During the preparation and the exchange of one week, the 3 groups will share their practices, their knowledge, their educational goals , their customs and ideas in the fields of animation towards children. They will develop and realize together a free entertainment program several sessions for disadvantaged children in the region of Marrakech. After the exchange, they restore to the different partners of the 3 regions the content of the project, assess their acquired skills and wishes to invest in a perpetuation of this exchange and the networks mobilizing local partners ( twinning common , other shares development assistance , exchange students ...)
