Echange de jeunes à l'international et interculturel
Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 31 oct. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The "Cap à l´Est“ (go to East) Project was initiated by a group of young people from Saint-Malo-de-Guersac (a small village in Brière, Loire Atlantique, France) and from Merini ( a Romanian village in the south-east of the country) in september 2013. It is based on the knowledge of specialised youth animators and aims at developping contacts towards the new culture through pupils exchanges. The Romania Solidarity association located in Saint-Malo-de-Guersac ,with its 20 years experience in intercultural cooperation, especially with Mereni, is strong integrated in that project which consists in a partnerschip between the municipality of Saint-Malo-de-Guersac, The Roumania Solidarity association and the municipality of Mereni. In Mai 2013, french members of the project went to Roumania to check and evaluate the project feasibility. It appears that the young people of the 2 groups are very intersted in seizing the opportunity of intercultural connections. The young people of the 2 groups are between 15 and 19 years old. Helped by a professional educative team, they are going to carry the project out from the beginning to the end (considerating, debating, concieving, realising, evaluating and valorisation). At the beginning, the French and the Roumanian groups had online contacts. The communication is all the more easy that the Romanians speak French. They created a blog dedicated to conduct and valorize the project so that the partnerschaft comes true. So, the „Cap à l´Est“ (go to East) project comes from the youth desires and proposals who want to work for their villages through local animations. The French group spent 10 days in Roumania in July 2014 and the next step is the coming of the Romanians in France in summer 2015. To ensure the meeting and the concertation, the groups chose to work on video and living arts. In that field, they organised workshops with specialists (Les pieds dans le PAF for instance). Through the video work they hope to be able to produce a film presenting their common work and experience. They will also participate in a workshop on dance and singing. The aim is not only to receive the Romanians correctly but also to give the inhabitants the opportunity to meet the Romanian group by taking part in the workshop and then promoting intercultural and intergenerational meeting. Their stay will naturally be also made up of sport activities, visits and cultural discoveries. The various activities are seen as educationnal, discovering, sharing, helping means. Common activities, living together and every day life activities are thought to create connections, relationships which allow to express oneself and to think about further common projects. We hope the project could allow us to have instructive and reflective discussions about living in Europe, taking the cultural differences into account. We would also like to show the the young people can be very useful for their own community and promote the personnal and copartnership participation in the social field. The project will naturally lead to fight against racism and partiality too and then to reinforce democracy by promoting tolerance and respect.
