EasyTransit - Education to Work Transitions

This project is Training course (Action 3.1. Cooperation with the Neighbouring Countries of the European Union), involving EU and SEE countries. Training will be hosted by the applicant, the Belgrade Open School from Serbia, in Becej, Serbia. It will involve 24 participants and 5 experts and support staff from 9 countries in total: 8 promoters coming from Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and one trainer is from the UK. Total project budget requested is 15052,50 EUR. This project`s overall aim is to contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth by increasing capacities of organizations and their youth workers to prevent youth unemployment through career information and guidance. Objectives are: To increase knowledge on youth transition, unemployment, early school leaving; To foster capacities of youth workers to support transitions from school to work and from adolescence into adulthood; To enhance young people`s employability; To increase youth career management skills; To gain competences on how to address youth unemployment, early school leaving, poverty and marginalization; To contribute to cultural diversity and international understanding in a daily life; To facilitate further development and promote implementation of Youth in Action Programme project ideas; To share good examples of socio-economic inclusion and guidance programs within European labour market; To improve collaboration between organizations from SEE and EU countries and to create partnerships for future projects.During 7 training day’s 29 people will discuss themes like career guidance and youth work, education to work transitions, European labor market, youth unemployment, intercultural learning and European citizenship, etc. Methods of non-formal learning through group discussions, small group works, role plays, simulations, presentations, performances, etc. will be applied.
