The overall objective: Based on the successful project Early warning system UA SK (EWS UA SR), to intensify and deepen the cross border cooperation of two regions: Zakarpatska region in UA and Košický kraj in SK in the field of emergency preparedness for floods, fire, and other natural disasters incidents. Expected Results: Estimated results: Enlarged and enhanced existing early warning system by 40 electronic sirens, 2 relay centres, and enhanced main control unit in Uzhorod in Ukraine and by 42 new electronic sirens, and 4 communication units in Slovakia, 2 international workshops for public administration from Zakarpatska and Kosicky regions organized in Uzhorod and Kosice.
