EACEA II - Euro-Asian Cooperation for Excellence and Advancement

Euro-Asian Cooperation for Excellence and Advancement 2 is a continuation of an on-going project Euro-Asian CEA. The project follows the EM guidelines, balanced cover geographical area of regions in EU and Central Asia and answers to the regional needs in terms of thematic fields of study for lot 9. The proposal is based on the concentrated experience from initial project and will with advanced steps increase attractiveness and high quality of EU high education system and research in Central Asia. It will facilitate the materialisation of institutional cooperation through the visits, special training programme, PhD network and face to face contacts of partners’ contact person as well as through academic/administrative staff and in the long term through the experiences of the grantees returning home. Project will provide grantees with international experience and a wide international network of colleagues that will result in broaden, sustainable, international, intellectual, responsible and cross cultural knowledge, which will rise their global competitiveness on the labour market.The project brings together a multidisciplinary consortium of 20 partners. Through transparent selection 151 individual scholarships will be granted; 141 CA and 10 EU Ba, Ma, PhD and post-PhD students and administrative/academic staff will benefit from special learning, research, teaching and/or working conditions not available at home institution. The extracurricular activities will contain cultural and linguistic preparation, educational trips, cultural events and social program to raise attractiveness of the location.Last but not least, the project aims at spin-off activities and sustainable impact that will include identification of new bilateral agreements and cooperation, tangible joint research initiatives and networks, joint programmes and actions, national or regional projects and a comparative and profound knowledge within an international context of EU and Central Asia.
