E2P - electronic entrepreneur portfolios

REASON: Fostering entrepreneurial (further) education/training among young people is a necessity in order to meet the challanges in a constantly changing labour market (compare Small Business Act, especially Principle 1 and Oslo Agenda). Selfemployment/Entrepreneurship is a chance for young people, particularly in the case of graduates from vocational based education there is an occasion to set up an own business on the basis of the field they have learned, especially in the tertiary sector (creative industries, health professions, etc.). AIMS: The general aim of our project is to use web 2.0 e-learning methodology as a tool for identifying entrepreneurial competences, to facilitate communication and collaborative problem-solving between entrepreneurs in advance, knowledge sharing and as a basis to identify fitting e-learning solutions.ePortfolios (transfer of the eProfilPASS), in combination with the knowledge portal (information for young entrepreneurs in all phases of the formation of an enterprise; transfer of www.frauengruenden.info) will provide an excellent portal to identify and improve entrepreneurial skills.Therewith a secondary aim is achieved: to increase the chances of young people on the labour market in general. Most of the competences important for successful entrepreneurship are also assistant for being a successful employee/intrapreneur.This is achieved by:• transferring a knowledge portal exploiting existent knowledge repository with crucial information for young entrepreneurs in a multilingual environment• transferring a transnational ePortfolio solution covering the most important competencies for founding an enterprise (competence based learning, identification of non formal an informal acquired competences)• building and fostering networks consisting of VET and related institutions• implementing outcomes in partner organisations and the networkEmphasis is put on a gender sensitve design of all instruments and a balanced percentage of men and women in targets and benficiaries groups.PARTNERSHIP: The partnershipis a consortium of seven public/private core partners and ten associated partners in six European countries that are AT, DE, ES, IE, IT, PL.OUTCOMES/IMPACT: • free of charge accessible knowledge portal and integrated ePortfolio solution, • trainings for pracitioners to grant a transfer to beneficiaries • networks of VET-institutions, schools/colleges, new business centres, enterprises, employment services, chambers, consulting institutions, relevant authorities, etc. •knowledge portal & ePortfolio solution in partner organisations and networks.
