1 Our school is located near Paris. Most of the students have multi- cultural backgrounds. We have established partnerships with European Comenius and FGYO since 2005 to develop : • Respect for other cultures • The feeling of being a European citizen • Openness in a multicultural society • The development of autonomy • The desire to learn other languages • Self-confidence • Creativity • The informed use of means of communication . 2 classes trips each year in a European country as part of a project 2 . The objective of the project is to create a European culture in the school on a common project. This involves the following sub- objectives: • Provide motivation to learn • To reappropriate our culture , our values, our cultural heritage , traditions and then discover those of other European countries. • To promote European culture and citizenship • To motivate teachers and students to learn other languages • To encourage creativity, openness and curiosity • To improve in the TICE ( technology ) • make educational exchanges between teachers and students on a " eTwinning " platform and " chain to " that of the training organization • organize mobility classes in a multilateral partnership . 3 . All the educational community is involved in the project , but some teachers are more involved and divided the work according to their skills and availability : a. The project officer is a teacher in CM2 . • She writes the application files and builds projects with the team • She organizes educational exchanges in the team of teachers from the school and with the coordinator of the partner schools. • She creates a multilingual album for the project of the year • She write the project blog b . The headmaster is responsible oh the budget , administrative records with the Rector , the validation of application files , the choice of the project of the year. It organizes an exhibition showcasing the work of all students in the year on the project. c . The second teacher CM2 also travel with her class. Training takes place during the school holidays . All teachers who wish to participate in motor for European projects were registered. The training plan was carried out in consultation in January 2014. 5 requires were made. 4 . Thus, teachers who go on training will be able to gradually enrich European culture of the institution with training in the extreme south -eastern Europe to Cyprus, then to the south , Sicily and finally in Scandinavia. In each country, working with the same teaching field, teachers will be imbibed by the culture of this country and cultural influences through history . They can implement in establishing innovative pedagogy open to the Europe . 5 . The impact of the training will be done at different levels: • in our classes with innovative pedagogy , setting up the project on our European cultural heritage and working on transversal skills. Learning are meaningful to students. • At the level of the team of teachers from the school and college by sharing our experiences and by providing resources on the project blog . . at our European partnership . At the local government level as we work with our Mayor . It follows us and leads us in our projects by hosting the European classes and funding coaches. Each year, we offer our multilingual album of the year in the library of our city. 6 . Thus, the entire educational community will be more motivated to open up to other cultures, to learn, to be curious, to explore language, European culture, to accommodate students and teachers of the partnership, to innovative pedagogies and share our values, our ideas ... Training in non-French speaking country with teachers from different European countries is an essential openness in European culture and languages. It allows to expand our network of educational and cultural exchanges between teachers and students.
