Traditionally, most of the training offer and management tools are focused on the needs of companies strongly settled in the market, with a standard management and organizational profile. The needs and specificities of those companies, that can be considered as the most vulnerable to economic crisis are not taken into account: social economy enterprises, micro-companies, labour societies, familiar business, companies settled by immigrants, etc. Most of the people managing this kind of enterprises do not have an adequate training in management which provides them with a medium/long term perspective of their businesses, being this an additional risk for this kind of companies, whose main daily challenge it to survive.The general objective of the E-RACE+ project was to develop a management tool based on the benchmarking concept, but adapted to the needs and specificities of the most vulnerable enterprises. This tool provides them with information regarding the situation of their company compared with other of their environment, being the base for a specific training on management adapted to the analysis generated by the ERACE+ tool. Both the analysis tool and the training are available on a training platform which will be validated by partners through a training group with the target group.The project has been led by FESALC, the Catalonian Federation of Labour Companies and coordinated by INVESLAN (ES), a training and employment research company, which participated in the project to transfer; MISTIA (PL) institute for social and economic development of the Malpolska region; HRDC (EL) - a non-profit organization focused on training and employment for local development- also led the development of the training platform (both of them have been leader and partner in ERACE project); FRONTIERA LAVORO (IT) a social cooperative working with groups at exclusion risk and INCSMPS (RO) working on the labour market development.The expected impact was to improve the strategic management skills and competences of the managers and responsible of the most vulnerable enterprises, as well as provide them with innovative and adapted analysis tool, which will help them to have a clear diagnosis on their businesses to medium/long term. It is to point out that improving the management capacity of these companies, we strength their role as job creator and tool for social cohesion.
