E-Quality for Self-Employment
Date du début: 1 mai 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The E-Quality for Self-Employment Project aims to face some important themes about young people of Agropoli (Italy), Brno (Repubblica Ceca) and Kavadarci (Macedonia), in particular with regard to women, their employment and general social cohesion. Within the ERASMUS+ Programme framework, the Project promotes a youth exchange (from 9th to 18th of June 2015) about active about active citizenship of youngsters in the European society with special attention to youth entrepreuneurs and gender equality. Therefore the Project will involve not only young people coming from European Union countries (like Italy and Czech Republic) but also from a non EU Programme country (like Macedonia). The partnership is consciously built with organizations with expertise in the field of youth and in young inclusion the labour market. From each country 9 young people will be participating (age range 17-22) and one group leader plus one italian youth worker, for a total of 31 participants. The initial impact will be extended to hundreds of people coming from the Municipality of Agropoli and other neighbouring cities, because the events will be public, while the project will have an international dissemination. Best practices exchanges among young people coming from different countries, and events organized with non-formal education methodology, will increase unexpressed skills of youth participants suggesting an important path towards labour market inclusion or in any case a growth of young people ability to find a job. All of this will be realized with simplicity, amusing young people and sharing with them not only the outputs but also the methods. Furthermore we are sure that it’s necessary to “fight” against gender inequality, misunderstandings and cultural barriers only with tools of mutual comprehension, experiences exchanges and fusion among youth capabilities, encouraging European youth creativity. The municipality of Agropoli is the framework and it is interested in this topics. Agropoli realized in the last few years a lot of initiatives in the field of youth like “Action Plan” with the purpose of job inclusion and obstacles removal also against gender disequality. The Municipality of Agropoli, thanks to the tireless work of city Informagiovani, local stakeholders and Associations and Youth Forum, promoted the whole Project since the beginnings up to its follow-up. The aim of the Project is to show that the real gender equality is pursuable only through a path of growing awareness of female condition in the society with the development of young people skills, best practices exchange and self-employment. All of this could be possible also through several formal and non-formal activities among young people coming from different countries, while facilitators and skilled testimonials will help develop their growth and will “educate” about gender equality and possibilities. The timetable will be filled up with creative labs, outdoor activities, national and international workshops, world cafè, and presentation of European Programmes and opportunities and youthpass cerimonies. With the help of stakeholders and “indirect” Associations and informal groups involved, partners will pick up informations and best practices while participants will share their experiences comparing problems and issues. After the conclusion of the Project, the partners will share the experience with their local communities, replaying the positive model and creating new opportunities of exchanges. Participants will not be only recipients of the experience but also they will organize the Project activities, with the constant monitoring of group-leaders and the knowledge of local best practices. The initiative will give to all participants also the opportunity to raise their responsibility, participation to social decisions, leadership, and at last but not at least the “ability of self-employment”.
