E pluribus unum! (Aus vielem Eines!)

E pluribus unum! is an international youth project for awareness-rising concerning various aspects of diversity and anti-discrimination of young people with different cultural backgrounds in the area of non-formal education. Under the slogan "Unity in Diversity!", the project puts creative approaches in the field of peacebuilding, conflict management and social inclusion in order to promote a commong vision of tolerance and cosmopolitan values. As connecting elements between the 30 participants aged between 18 and 30 years, we use media, arts, culinary experiments as well as sports and outdoor activities. The project last from May until September 2012, starting with a preparatory visit in May 2012. The intercultural exchange activity will take place in Kyiv from 13th of July - 22nd of July 2012. Various subjects such as social inclusion of migrants and minorities, gender and volunteering in relation with Human Rights and the UN-Millenium Development Goals are dealt with during the activities. The principal purpose of the Action 3.1 youth exchange is the creation of more solidarity among the youngsters as well asthe construction of a lasting network between the partnercountries for building up a strong community of young active citizens who are aware of the treasure of diversity and who can face future challenges of a global society. The project is a follow-up project from MultipliCity WANTED!, that was held in Graz, Austria, in September 2011.
