The program “ACTION ON THE ROAD WITH THE YOUTH” addressed to a group of young people aged between 12 and 17 years old at the small community of Pera Chorio Nisou. The target group was a minority and used unhealthy ways of entertainment that often were risky to reach the limits of delinquency. The socio-economic context of the family could not help them to regard their prospects in school and in later opportunity for further education.The program through its actions integrated the group of young people in the rest of the community, developed equal opportunities like the other young people in the community in the field of entertainment and training opportunities.Actions lasted 90 days and all the actions took place on the street (street work).We organized conferences on issues affecting the young people and specifically our target group. Young people developed new techniques, socialized and engaged in healthy ways of entertainment.The program indirectly also prevented the use of drugs and also the juvenile delinquency of vulnerable groups in the community.Through its activities, the number of young people that participated to the programme was 25. The activities that took place was following:• Graffities, after the guidance of the Community Council that guided us on which wall to use every week.• MMA lessons, with the participation of 10 young people that did not have the chance before to participate in sports.• 2 Discussions about drugs and Safe Driving.• Music and Dance FestivalThe amount of the EU grand given was 5,850 Euros.
