ACTIVITY STAFFIt refers to the movement of 10 teachers of the 1st EPAL Ptolemais, in Lisbon of Portugal. The activity will include a) a six-day seminar on theoretical and practical issues of the Integrated Sustainable Design Building b) professional visits to companies or organizations that use techniques to Design Sustainable buildings c) cultural activitiesThe goals :To develop the skills of the teaching staff for their design approach to the Integrated Sustainable Design Building adapting the building to the local environment and exploit the positive environmental parameters and passive and active solar systems.Get to know the education system in Portugal.Get to know the culture, the history, the culture of Portugal.Gain valuable cooperation with teachers and officials of the country.To develop the complex personality of acquiring new language, social and cognitive skills.Be encouraged to develop other mobility programs and international partnershipsTo encourage the acquisition and certification of qualifications via the EuropassRevise the views towards the EU and to adopt new attitudes towardsExpected Learning Outcomes:It will refresh their knowledge in Sustainable Architectural Design of Buildings, improving the techniques of visual comfort in the interior, the developments in the heating and cooling of a building, the building materials, energy efficiency simulation methods.They will gain social skills, communication skills, which enable a person to express clear and convincing messages and have active listening, to work effectively in teams, to handle disputes and effective negotiations etc.They will develop cognitive, intercultural and language skillsThey will adopt a new attitude towards their participation in European programsThey will adopt a new attitude towards the diversity of ethnocentric and xenophobic attitudesdevelop a culture of mutual respect, to highlight the difference as a source of positive growthActivities mobility two weeks will be held in Lisbon, Portugal in April of 2017.ACTIVITY OF LEARNERSIt refers to the movement of 15 pupils of the 1st EPAL Ptolemais, in Lisbon of Portugal The activity will include a) a six-day seminar on theoretical and practical issues of the Integrated Sustainable Design Building: b) professional visits to companies or organizations that use techniques to Design Sustainable buildings c) cultural activitiesThe goals :To develop in the field of bioclimatic architecture and energy planning, specific softwaresTo acquire knowledge in the use of solar radiation for heating of buildings with passive solar systemsand knowledge for cooling buildings, systems and techniques that improve visual comfortTo specialize in energy efficient simulation methodsTo consolidate the knowledge through practice in companies / sitesTo broaden their professional orientation as they come into contact with the labor market, discovering the technological innovations prevail and the prospects opened up for future employment or businessTo broaden their intercultural skills of participants, as rich stimuli will receive their contact with citizens of another country, its cultureTo improve their communication in English through a variety of daily activities and the need to use languageTo improve their personal development and socialization, through teamwork and their involvement in interdisciplinary work on applications of Sustainable ArchitectureExpected Learning Outcomes:improve the knowledge, skills and abilities in the choice of interventions for energy improvement of an existing building of conventional construction, the option "Passive Heating Systems", the choice of components of housing etc.They will raise awareness on sustainability and environmental issues will acquire social skills, interpersonal communication and adapt to foreign environments, negotiation, collaborative.They will gain cognitive skills, critical thinking, logical, intuitive and creative thinkingThey will improve their language skillsThey will be encouraged to participate and other innovative educational programsThey will adopt new attitudes towards the European project and European integrationThe activities of the two weeks mobility will take place in Lisbon, Portugal in April 2018.
