We think that a successful international competition could open up new perspectives for our school, giving us the chance to gain international relations, networking with foreign companies and education institutions. That is why we entered the Erasmus+ KA1 mobility program.Our school would like to send two groups of students abroad. Both groups are mixed. We select our students from different classes. The first group will spend the placement in ACCOR and A&M´s hairlounge in Vienna, Austria in September/October 2016 for 21 days (tourism students, waiters, cooks, pastry-cooks, hairdressers, makeup artists). The second group is going to APAF near Milan, Italy in May/June 2017 for 21 days (tourism students, waiters, cooks, pasrty-cooks).The pastry-cooks, cooks, and waiter students (five of each class) will not only taste the national foods but also learn to make them, within the field of catering. The waiters will learn about the local foods and drinks (Italian wines, Austrian coffees specialties). They will be able to present to the guests these drinks in English and in German also. Their language skills will be improved, their communication skills will be strengthen, their professional-vocabulary will be broaden, they will be more open and what’s important they will be more self-confident. The students of hotel can learn how it´s going in a big hotel, they can learn a lot of things from big hotel area. The top of the catering industry is the daily work in the hotels, as it's one the most important element of the project, since our kids facing challenges in exclusive environments not in small family hotels. They learn the hotel management process from the bottom to the top, from the reception through the hotel reservations to the room-service.The hairdressers will spend their placements in a hair salon in Vienna , while the make up artists will learn the secrets of the profession in this hair salon.For students who are committed to gastronomy, catering, hairdressing and beauty industry, Italy and Austria are an ideal target as these two cities are the home of the above mentioned professions.
