The title of our project is Professional development of school employees. Its aim is to increase the competence of teachers of science and humanities who teach in English and teachers of Spanish, German, English and French. Furthermore it is designed for school leaders and non-pedagogical employees of the school – a head of school secretary and a psychologist, who use a foreign language as a means of communication with students and their parents. In the project 18 participants will be involved. The courses, CLIL, language and methodology, will give them an opportunity to improve their knowledge of foreign languages, while at the same time offer them a range of options for teaching learners more effectively. Participants will also be encouraged to re-assess 'teacher beliefs and attitudes' in the light of current trends in methodology. We do believe that the participation in the project provides opportunities for the development of partnerships with schools and organisations across Europe to improve standards and the quality of teaching and learning. Besides the project will help us to promote international-mindedness in our school and in our community. Thus, our institution will become more competitive in the market by improving the quality of teaching and learning.
