Industrial School (Secondary Technical School In Bielsko-Biała) is a beneficiary of the project “Vocational development of students studying at the field of study - garment technologist” The participants of the project are the students of the 3rd class who have been trained to get a profession – garment technologist. The internship will take place in workplaces and workshops in Sevilla de Moda – the biggest and the most modern private school in Andalusia. This workplace has its own curriculum and the school educational success confirms professional careers of the graduates. Apart from sending organisation and receiving organisation, in realisation of the project take part the agent organisation euroMind, - a well-developed Andalusia educational advisory institution, having its headquarters in Ubeda and Sevilla, in the southern Spain. euroMind in agreement with the headteachers of the school e Sevilla de Moda in Sevilla and in cooperation with vocational teachers of this school, created the programme of practical trainings. This programme involves practicum in companies connected with subject matters. Among the affiliates connected with textile industry, there are such companies as Aires del Sur, Pequearmario, Arreglos de Modas Grassi. These companies deal with traditional designing, sewing wedding and traditional costumes, accessories, as well as repairing and remodelling of clothing. Another company connected with the topic of the project, which cooperates with euroMind is Arcadia Amarga, which deals with designing outfits for individual clients, as well as stage costumes and theatrical costumes. The main part of the course will be followed by cultural, pedagogical trainings and language trainings. The project will start in 2015 and it will finish in 2016. During this time two groups, each one consisting of 16 students, will go abroad. Each group will travel with two teachers from Industrial School in Bielsko-Biała. These teachers will take care of trainees during the travel and vocational trainings. This vocational training abroad will complement vocational practice in motherland. The main goal of the training abroad will be development of vocational and interpersonal competences of students and also increasing their mobility. Taking part in the project will be a significant element of students’ career development. Increasing the vocational and language competitions will be acknowledged by getting the certificate Europass – Mobility. Getting references from the abroad trainers will help students improve their situation in the labour market. It will increase their chances to be employed in fashion industry in Poland as well as in other European countries. The tutors, who will go abroad with their students, may have an occasion to share their vocational skills experience and exchange it with the teachers who organise vocational training abroad. Information flow regarding the effective methods of teaching and also the news in fashion industry will be beneficial for both sides. Interesting solutions observed during trainings will be used by the students, after coming back to their homeland, they will make learning at this field of study more attractive. Industrial school in Bielsko – Biała offering such a form of further education will guarantee education on the highest European level, what will result in increasing interest in our school among junior high school pupils and among potential employers.
