Date du début: 5 juin 2015, Date de fin: 5 juil. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

“Don Bosco effect for SOCIAL IMPACT: empowering youth workers and volunteers to work with young people with fewer opportunities in Europe.” is a seminar organized in Rijswijk in the Netherlands, from the 1st to 6th of July 2015. Through this seminar we want to focus on empowering youth workers and ex volunteers to work with young people with fewer opportunities. We want to empower them to work together in an international team to organize international youth activities for young people with fewer opportunities. There are 46 participants taking part in this seminar. During the past 10 years Don Bosco has invited to the Netherlands more than 390 young people through short and long term EVS projects and more than half of them were young people with fewer opportunities. Most of them had a great time in the Netherlands and because of that they stayed in contact with Don Bosco and with each other. We want to bring at least some of them who are unemployed back and remotivate them, show them some good practices of youth workers who are active in youth field, show them the possibilities within Europe, with Erasmus + to engage themselves with international activities especially disadvantaged young people. Through different methods such as workshops, TED talks, presentations, open space, simulation game and exchange market we want to bring out the best results of this seminar. During this seminar we also want reflect on the effect of EVS in their life, specially the Don Bosco effect and how this had a personal, group and international dimension, what are simple elements which create such an effect and how this could be translated for social change. In this way we are sure that seminar will meet and contribute to the personal growth and needs of the participants and partners organizations. In turn it has also long term benefits such as employability for the participants, new projects in Erasmus+ program, qualitative projects and international partnerships.
