ΔΟΜΗΜΕΝΕΣ ΕΠΙΣΚΕΨΕΙΣ ΣΕ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΑ

The 1st High school of Kalampaka is a public Junior High School. This 7-day project is entitled ‘Structured Study Visits to Schools’ and it will be organized in Reykjavik, Island. The receiving organization is English Matters, which is an organization with quite a lot of experience in organizing international and European mobility projects within the framework of Erasmus+. Those involved in this project are 5 tutors of various specialties.This programme efficiently combines pedagogic visits to schools/institutes and structured training activities. That is why it implemented during the academic term, when schools and institutes can show the vibrancy of their daily life and operation. Participants will enjoy opportunities to meet and interact with teachers, head teachers, experts, and school advisors and experience a powerful and unique school culture. They will observe innovative approaches to learning and network and possibly form reliable partnerships leading to possible Key Action 2 projects. This will support the European Dimension in Education. The training seminars will help participants to better enhance their learning in a friendly environment and exchange ideas about educational systems, the culture of the host country, and educational topics of general interest through workshops and lectures. Also, the cultural study visits will enhance participants' experience by providing access to exploring significant landmarks of archaeological, geographical and historical interest.All in all, this mobility project generates professionalism resulting in promoting innovation and quality in education. It will give beneficiaries a different perspective by shedding light on the key role of education and it will facilitate objectivity and the transfer of knowledge, to say nothing of the fact that it will provide the participants with opportunities to successfully develop their full intellectual, vocational and personal potential and their understanding of what it means to be European.
