The project „Good apprenticeship as a chance for a good start and better future” concerns professional internship abroad and covers the group of 48 students of Zespol Szkol nr 1 in Kędzierzyn – Koźle. The participants of the project will be students of the technical nutrition and food services and vocational cookery classes. The project implies the trip of 3 groups of 16 people for apprenticeship to Germany within two years. The goal of the project is to enable our students to have professional training in Germany what will influence their vocational and language skills. Another advantage of the vocational training is, in our opinion, providing our students with a good start at a labor market, exchange of experience, promotion and popularization of the idea of professional internship and vocational experience abroad as the chance for a good existence at the labor market. In order to fulfill the project the team responsible for implementation of particular stages will be appointed. At the beginning the rules of cooperation with the project partner will be defined and contracts will be signed. On the basis of agreed regulations, the participants of the particular groups will be selected. They will be included in a preparatory programs such as extracurricular classes in catering technology and professional German language. The main goal of the project, as well as the next stage of it, is the professional internship abroad where the students will improve their professional skills. After the internship the students will prepare presentations in order to promote foreign apprenticeship. At the end of the project both participants will evaluate and assess the cooperation and benefits of it. The project will influence the improvement of vocational qualifications of the participants, it will also give an opportunity to improve professional skills and check their abilities during the apprenticeship. The participants of the internship will get the certificate Europass – Mobility – as a proof of additional vocational qualifications. This certificate will be honored in Europe and will enable the participants to be more mobile at a European labor markets. Moreover, the project will have an impact on increased working motivation, self – confidence and responsibility of its participants. The project has a strong impact on the cooperation on European level in the area of exchanging experiences and vocational training. Another goal of the project is to raise young, conscious people willing to undertake new challenges for whom the borders of the country do not limit their future targets. Contact with other culture is a great opportunity to broaden the minds and popularize tolerance and respect. The project will enable to obtain new experience in international cooperation connected with vocational training and to enrich the educational offer of our school.
