Diversity in Europe : Richness or ?

The content of the project is about diversity management, cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and to improve the competencies of youth workers in this regard also consist of workshops will be held in order to create awareness in this area. Our project aims to improve the skills of youth workers and young people about diversity management to combat with increasing discrimination and xenophobia as a tool. Training course created for the requirement of the diversity management usage in youth services. The purpose of our project,- To raise awareness on diversity management and youth workers to develop their skills about diversity management- Raise awareness about discrimination which raised cause of prejudices and stereotypes - Increasing the competences of youthworkers who are working with intercultural groups - Increasing the comptences of youthworkers with undertaking the inclusion topic for the inclusion of the minorities and Roma people - Capacity building of the youthworkers who are working on cultural diversity projects and also working with ethnically diverse groups in their local area The participants of the project, will be youthworkers who have been implemented youth exchanges or trainings in this field or have motivation to work on cultural diversity and diversity management. Our project will be held between 23-30 June 2016 in Elazığ with participation of 11 countries.With the activities we will carry out during the projects,the participants will be able to work with the different ethnicities and they will improve their skills with non-formal education methods with simulation games, group work, case studies and so on. As a results of the project, youthworkers and youth trainers will be able to implement diversity management methods during their daily work. Meanwhile, the participants will gain knowledge about Erasmus+ Youth Programme and they will be able to apply for the grant if they do not have knowledge how to do that. On the other hand, with this project, the participants will gain knowledge about the cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue and they will increase the visibility of the ethnicities in their local areas with the projects they will carry out and it will create an impact with that way. In long run our project will have following potential benefits; - Increased understanding of the diversity management and the usage for the inclusion of the minorities - Increased capacity of youthworkers for the inclusion of young people who has discriminated cause of cultural differences - Inclusion of the young people who has been excluded from the society cause of prejudges and steorotpyes
