The scientific studies referring to the effects of preschool education brought to surface the following important elements: preschool education has a positive effect on children’s abilities, on their future educational career and on their social integration. The Romanian educational system is involved in an adaptation and improvement process to the tendencies and the objectives of the European education, which has consequences on preschool education. The Gulliver kindergarten from Sfântu Gheorghe proposed to implement the project entitled ” Diversity through participation” between 01.07.2015 - 01.07.2016. The objectives of the project were: the expansion the educational offer on optional and freely-chosen activities, the development of pre-primary teachers’ the competences, the application of innovative strategies in the preschool-educational process and developing the feeling of its belonging to the European community. During the implementation process of the project four pre-primary teachers were going to be selected to take part in training courses in two countries: Slovenia and Great Britain. The course topics had been chosen according to the development necessities of preschool children and the needs of the institution. The selected participants were going to acquire competences like: introduction and stimulation of creativity and innovation in classroom activities, stimulating children based on Dr. Edward de Bono`s methodology, implementing the CLIL method, developing the linguistic and intercultural competences through sharing experience. Sharing intercultural experience between participants was important to establish the best methods in CLIL taken from the British education, and development of linguistic competences. The acquired competences had the following objectives: the creation of optional activity programs, free chosen activities, planning and implementing these processes. The mobility activities took place between : 16 - 20.11.2015: the training course entitled Teaching creativity in schools, inspired by Edward de Bono, 14 - 27.02.2016 the training course entitled CLIL methodology. The experience acquired by the four participants in creativity and teaching foreign languages in kindergarten was disseminated during methodological activities, conferences and methodological meetings on local and county level, including the cooperation with the „Háromszék” newspaper and the sites www. didactic. ro, www. slideshare. net. The results of the project were clarified and applied in the programs of optional activities of learning English and Romanian, collecting games and activities on creativity and drama for children, practical ideas for artistic and plastic activities based on creativity, didactical tools elaborated as a result of participation to the course. Our kindergarten`s futher plan is to use the learnt competences in order to coach and train pre-primary teachers from other kindergartens using CLIL method and the creativity tools, to strenghten the promotion of our institution`s image and to integrate the acquired and adapted experiences in the KA2 or E-Twinning projects.
