This grant proposes ίο better prepare college and university professors from Europe and the United States for teachingpresent and future educators to successfully communicate with studenis, families and communities and makeconnections to the required school curriculum. In effect, this grant proposes to assist teachers in becoming culturallyresponsive instructors. This study has significance for global culturally responsive teaching and learning. It wiil impactnumerous teacher education programs in the USA and Europe and help present and future teachers become moreculturally aware. Moreover, the project aims to improve studení literacy devetopmeni ¡n Europe and the USA by drawingupon student's backgrounds and making connections with the required curriculum.
