In 2010-2020 EU disability strategy, it is revealed that in Europe one person in every six, that means 80 million people, and in Turkey one person in every ten has disability from high to low rate. While we are preparing our project, we have seen that social subjects are given importance in 2020 EU strategy. An effective "struggle with social exclusion" is one of the basic attempts that will carry out EU's aim of inclusive growth. EU has aimed to put forward concrete solutions to the global problem “social exclusion” (disability, agedness, poverty etc) by sharing good practices developed to solve this problem in social platforms.Social exclusion is a significant problem for the future of our country and precautions to be taken have a primary place among strategical targets of our future. We have prepared "Don’t exclude Please include Project" so that the children with special needs can be integrated into the society and can be compatible with their peers. The prepared project is a consortium of five schools. For each course,16 people will participate the training- three from each kindergarten and four from each primary school. Totally, 48 participants will take part in these three courses. These peole are the ones who are experienced in conducting a project, eager to improve themselves professionally, good at team work, creative, innovative and have a good sense of empathy and computer skills. The aim of the project is that the children exposed to social exclusion because of autism, Down syndrome, behavioral disorders, physical obstacles, mental obstacles, learning difficulty, superior intelligence/talent, child to have been abused (exposed to violence, sexual abuse), psychological child problems caused by broken family, child problems victimized by social and economical situations can get sense of belonging in the classroom by means of innovational approaches obtained via this education. Our directorate aims to reduce and improve the social exclusion. In this aspect, it developed and conducted related projects;1. Life Path For Disabled, Schools without Disabilities Project (2012) ( SODES Project)2. Dissemination of Early School Education Project ( 2012)3. I am here in the Volunteering Circle ( 2012)4. For a Civilized and Balanced Life project ( 2011) For this reason, it gives importance to awareness of personality of the childhood starting from kindergartens. It also aims to place EU social platforms and to find concrete solutions for education of special need children and social exclusion. The personals of consortium schools aim to develop solutions for their students, share sample applications in social platforms and improve their teaching skills by learning theoretical and practical samples about the variety of student needs in kindergartens and peer disagreement. They also aim to improve their personal evolution and using correct methods for renewed student potential of each year. While preparing our project, the project team from consortium schools share the jobs equally. They define the needs by using these methodologies: discussion, brain storming and concept-maps.Our Project has three main headings as Czech Republic-Prag “children needing special education”, Italy-Florence “Peer dispute and emotional literacy”, Latvia-Riga “Inclusion”. After theoretical education process in Europe, practices at the schools of our town will be supported. With these courses, the capacity of the trainer and managers will be maximized and the quality of the education will be increased. Moreover, before all these planned training courses, special needs children in our schools will be determined. Then, by comparing behavioral evaluation forms, acquisition form and classroom activities applied after the trainings, the effects of our project on the students will be obtained. With the courses taken, we aim to have information about the education in Europe and make practices at schools which are the members of the consortium in disadvantaged areas within the framework of our directorship and make them widespread all over the town and the whole city in the long run. It is expected that a general policy for children with special needs can be formed in the whole town with the development of increasing capacity for exclusion of these children in management stage. Our institutions will be able to assimilate European Union identity and we will have a better international cooperation capacity with the works that will be undertaken.
