SEBASTIAN, VINCENT AND MARTINA EN STA MARIA DE LOS ANGELEST The volunteer project covers three main work areas: social and cultural activities, linguistic and cultural exchange, and Erasmus + projects management. All this is based on the joint commitment with the environment and community. The framework educates the youth as participatory and creative individuals, in the broader construction of the non-violent, just, equal and respecting human rights society. In addition, the objectives are to promote and integrate the value of interculturalism, appreciation and respect for diversity, raise environmental values and adopt attitudes that promote sustainable development. BARBARA AND MARGAUX EN LA FUNDACION ALONSO QUIJANO It will be a long term project (10 month) that will take place in the city of Malaga, a capital of the namesake province in the autonomous community of Andalusia. With its 568 479 inhabitants according to statistics of 2013, Malaga is the sixth biggest Spanish city with its population and the largest one between the cities that are not capitals of any autonomous community. It is also the most densely populated urban area of the conurbation formed by the set of locations that lie along the 140 km long coast of the Costa del Sol. Malaga city lies on a bay that is surrounded by a mountain range (Mountains of Malaga). Two rivers, Guadalmedina and Guadalhorce, pass through the city flowing into the Mediterranean. The areas where we carry out our activities of volunteering are the Mother and Child Hospital of Malaga and the seat of the Foundation Alonso Quijano, both located in the Malaga city.
