Our project'' Discover the Sky’ ‘is a transnational youth exchanges project which will take place in Aydın/Turkey. There will be totally 30 participants in the project with participation of youngs people from Turkey, Lithuania,Poland,Romania and Hungary.The starting point of our project is introduction of making model aircraft, bringing together the young people who interest in that area and ensure young people making model aircraft as a hobby.Hobbies that are performed socially helps young people in development of their social relations, development of personal communication and increase of exchanging ideas among the people.It has a great importance in terms of learning the rules of living together. Dealing with a hobby, save people from the stress. Modelling is a world in itself, also like a bottomless pit. In this way, three dimensial thinking and design horizons will expand in young people. In meantime, their hands kills will develop and they also gain a different perspective to the world. In our project, we aimed to disseminate the making model aircraft and appeal to more people. The main objectives of our project are;-To develop the hobby of model aircraft in international dimension-To increase the level of qualifications and basic skills of young people-To promote the intercultural dialogue and solidarity-Support young people’s active participation in society.-To ensure the young people discover their creativity-To expand their three-dimensional thinking and design horizonsWhen implementing the project, we aim to achieve to use the intercultural learning and non-formal education methods. To ensure the active participation of young people, peer education and experimental learning methods are our basic implementation methods. We also aimed to use non formal education tools effectively like; warm-up activities, team building activities, brainstorming, active participation and inclusion.At the end of our project, participants:-will gain making model aircraft as a hobby.-will develop their personal and social skills-will gain the spirit of team building-will develop their conceptual thinking skills-will develop positive attitude to the different cultures.
