"DISCOVER MATARRAÑA" is a project will take place in the Comarca of Matarraña / Matarranya, a local public body, particularly in the youth and culture areas. The Region is located in the town of Valderrobres, Teruel (Aragón, Spain). The project includes two European volunteers, over a period of 12 months, in which they participate and work together in two departments of the organization, for young people and the general population of the 18 villages that make up our territory. With this project we want to integrate youth volunteers in the activities and dynamics that develop in this area for young people and local people who may live a new experience and learn about the intercultural and European dimension. We want to support them in the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes, improve foreign language competence of the participants, to increase the participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries and offer the possibility of networks international, and increasing awareness of citizenship and European identity contacts. This long-term project, we believe it is an optimal time to acquire the language skills and experience required by this voluntary. The activities planned in the project, are those usually develop in two departments: planning, organization, do it and evaluation of projects for youth and cultural projects. The working methods will be dynamic and participatory, always in direct contact with the local population of the territory. In this project there are three partners involved, although the participating countries are only 2 Spain (as host) and Germany (as sending), because the two volunteers selected are from the same country. We will have great success and impact on the local population and we will disseminate the results through social networks, local press and broadcast media usual. We hope to continue working on European issues and that younger people to participate in the Erasmus + program and benefit from the opportunities that it offers.
