The project started after agreement with the experienced partner. Our school implemented the fourth successful project of the same aim. 17 higher grade students of both economical branches of our school – Lyceum of Economics ans Business academy who have enough technical knowledge gained in economic subjects and also in English language were involved in the project. Fortnight work experience took place in 12 different companies – the students were working in three branches – administration, information technology and selling which are closely connected with the aim of their studies. The output of the project is the work experience of our students abroad which helped to increase their readiness for their future career and increased their flexibility and ability to adapt to new conditions and use English as the communicative language at work. The project enabled to students to have an opinion of the compenies operating in the United Kingdom and meet the job description and discipline of the employees, the behaviour rules and enabled them to acquire good work habits which are demanded at work. The important impact of our project on participants is also the strenghtening of their personal qualities – increasing of their motivation, self-confidence, firmness, independence, flexibility, endurance, responsibility, reliability and courage which will increase their chances to get attractive jobs and assert themselves better at the labour market in the Czech Republic and also abroad and in their future life. The students had opportunity to live in the country with rich democratic traditions and acquaint with varied multicultural society in London and its atmosphere full of respect and tolerance among its inhabitants, different culture, history, sights and habits. The project has international impact from this point of view. Another important impact of the project was getting the Europass-Mobility and Particiapant Cerfiticate. The project used the system ECVET which contributed to guarantee the evaluation of the reached skills and competences of its participants. Our project has also long-range output for the school and region. Our school became more attractive for prospective students and enabled present itself like a modern educational institution which is able to react to the needs of the labour market which prefers the school-leavers with proven work experience and knowledge of English. It also helped to emphasize its meaning in the region because the school takes an active part in European context and prepares efficient and universally ready workers for the whole industrial Ústecký region.
