Date du début: 1 oct. 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our project idea to help people with disabilities develop their social life and active living skills and competences, raise their self confidence level and give a work experience by involving them to voluntary work in intercultural festival. The most difficult thing for young disabled people is to find a job and be useful part of our society. Lot of organizations and institutions doing a lot in area of professional and social education for people with special needs, but it is still a problem for them to find a job.Our idea for social inclusion of disabled youth is to give them opportunity to learn new skills which could be useful in the future and give them a chance to practice their new knowledge, competences gained during volunteering. During the large scale EVS project we plan to organize experience exchange and cooperation between young people from different countries and with different social background by getting involved them as volunteers in the intercultural event called "Disabled Free Fest". Volunteering in this case can be a successful method for reaching different goals: to teach young people in non-formal way, give them new skills and competences; to give them opportunity to work and be proud of the result of their work; to let them exchange the experience among young people from different countries and maybe to build future cooperation; to show example for society that people with special needs could be useful and professional; to increase self-esteem and self-confidence of youth with disabilities, to promote volunteering as an opportunity for everyone; to be active and responsible part of society, to promote tolerance and better understanding among people from different cultures.
