Priorities of Dimitrovgrad & Soufli municipalities are to upgrade CBC in BG-GR border region in order to contribute to sustainable regional development & improvement of quality of life on their territories.Road network is important for development of economics & relations of both partners.Both municipalities identified tasks regarding CBC & its role for development of their administrative centers & the settlements around. Expected Results: Project implementation will contribute to rehabilitation of road network in BG-GR border region.In BG 2.689 km road in Dimitrovgrad municipality will be rehabilitated.The road is in an area with tourist attractions & the improvement of the accessibility will result in improved area's attractiveness.In GR 8.5 km road in Soufli Municipality will be rehabilitated which connects 4 isolated villages.It will benefit by improving the quality of life for the inhabitants of the villages,the near-about settlements, especially farmers.It will also provide accessibility to a number of tourist destinations which will increase considerably the attraction capacity of the region.
