Firstly our project´s aim is to meet the challenges of the European ERASMUS+ KA1 Programme priorities "To strengthen participation in mobility projects to improve the level of key competences and skills of the participants". We are fully aware of the needs that contemporary life brings concerning the usage of tablets and non-traditional ways of aducation. This project´s aim is to eliminate the lack of experience that our teachers have regarding the usage of tablets, iPads and mobile devices. The project was tailored to create a 7-member team to be trained by the experts in international provided mobilities and thus transferred collected examples of good practice on soil of our school and helped to implement these skills with other teachers in Slovakia.This team has been carefully selected on the basis of meeting the selection criteria concerning language and ICT competencies.All the members have had the necessary previous experience of working with tablets and non-traditional ways of teaching.The project should contribute to creating a balance between the use of non-traditional and traditional methods of teaching so that the student does not become just a consumer of the created applications but also become involved in their design and be able to modify open-source applications.Team members will use the acquired skills in their own lessons and will also prepare 7 open lessons. They will prepare the methodology of teaching according to the acquired competences and will test their usage. They will share the sources of these materials with other teachers and create a collection of applications and unconventional teaching methods adjusted to the needs of this type of education in Slovakia. This collection will be freely available on the internet and also in a printed form. The Internet version of this collection will go a long modifiable source and after the project it will be edited once a year with new applications and examples of best practice.The sequence of training activities during the project and after its completion, we would like to pass the lessons learned to other teachers and to build a support center for teachers who wish to improve their competencies in this area in form of three face-to-face meetings in course of the project. We plan to create three discussion groups in the course of the project in the eTwinning portal :- The conversion of schools to digital school model- The usage of tablets in lessons- The non-traditional methods of teachingThese groups will be opened to discussion for the whole international and national teaching audience and, if interested, we plan to organize online video conferencing in eTwinning Live platform.
