Unfortunately in their everyday lives the young people often get influenced by intolerance and prejudice towards other cultures and religions.With our project we want to bring closer another way of life to our participants. Thereby the tolerance of others and the solidarity should be strengthened.Overall 60 adolescent participants aged between15 and 21 years old come equally from Lübeck/Ratekau in Schleswig-Holstein / Germany and Antalya/Turkey.They will become acquainted with the turkish daily life especially with respect to culture and religion. In the course of this encounters with students, politicans, the Imam of a mosque and the local population as well as a sports group get included.In frank discussions, common games, activities and a celebration a lively exchange between the participating groups should be guaranteed.The project should strengthen the cosmopolitanism of the participants.At the end is the recognition that in spite of different lifestyles we all apply the same tolerance for each other: "Different Life - Same Tolerance".In the long term these experiences should be applied by the participants in Europe in order to promote a respectful contact to each other and to avoid discrimination.
