Didactische aspecten van klasdoorbrekende schoolarchitectuur
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

With this KA1 consortium application we want to gather know how on new types of school architecture away from traditional classrooms and more specifically what the didactical implications are of the architecture and layout of these schools. The members of the consortium are schools who are planning to build new schools or plan renovation works in the near future. We want to learn about how a school with innovative architecture that abandons the model a series of classrooms in a row, operates in practice. Instead of a traditional classroom with tables and chairs we see in Denmark a school inside a giant iceberg with a cinema, a platform and space for relaxation and recreation. The school is home to many different types of learning situations. We look at how the physical design encourages teaching methods and principles of the organization. The architectural design and interior design to accommodate to include digital media and approaches. In the new school laptops and tablets of the children are the main tools - whether sitting, lying or standing We want to see a number of people from schools how this architectural school concept didactic, pedagogical works. What learning methods are used, there is no chaos as students can freely move itself and use certain areas? But also how to start a school for such a challenge and how to evolve with your teacher team to such a dynamic organization. Studio Rosan Bosch, a renowned architectural office in Copenhagen, is organising a structured in-service training on this topic. We hope this project will open the way for innovative school buildings in Flanders.
