Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Twenty three girls and boys of France and Germany are going to meet through two exchanges, the one in France and the other one in Germany. These young people, meeting difficulties bound to hearing or language disorders are going to be introduced to the European construction and to discuss together the question of the inclusion of the people in situation of handicap in their respective countries and more widely in Europe. The policies of inclusion benefited from a fast development these last ten years in most of the countries of Europe. At the European very level, the current trend is for the development of this type of policies by favoring the participation of people with disabilities themselves in the public debate and in the processes of decision. The question of the education is mainly considered as central, because it crystallizes very often the posterior difficulties in terms of access to the employment and social inclusion. On the basis of these reports, the project has for ambition to involve young people in situation of handicap schooled in specialized institutions in the debate on the inclusion, to favor their empowerment. The first exchange will be articulated around contents of raising awareness to the dynamics of European construction and at the idea of European citizenship, to place the question in an international context, and favor the awareness of Europe as supranational political entity. The young people will beforehand have prepared a short display of the situation in their respective country with regard to the inclusion of the people with disabilities. We shall approach with the young people the concept of discrimination through playful tools. Then, through contents favoring the exchange and the debate, they will question the concrete efficiency of the current policies of inclusion with regard to their own real-life experience. Through this work of reflection, the young participants can approach so better the stakes in the inclusion and have information on the question.Between both meetings, the teaching teams of the partner schools will seize the theme to pursue the reflection with the young people on the European citizenship and the question of the inclusion.During the second meeting, from this this work of reflection, they will work on the realization of short videos or photos, helped in their artistic work by professionals of these tools. These videos or photos can stage the messages which the young people wish to send, either in the civil society, or to the national and European political decision-makers. At the end of the meetings, the productions will be diffused on the Internet as well as thanks to the respective networks of the partners and in particular on the European Civic Forum.Other objective of this exchange of young people will be the exchange in itself, that is the intercultural meeting between the young people through games(sets) and debates on the theme. The everyday life, as well as times of leisure activities and discovery of territories, will be important supports for the intercultural exchange, the discovery of other one in the mutual respect. They will constitute as such an important part of the programming of the stays. The exchanges will give also opportunities of situations of taking of autonomy, according to the capacities of the young people, what will also favor the process of empowerment. The question of the communication will be also central throughout the exchanges. It will be about linguistic communication, with an aspect of discovery of the French and German languages, but also the communication with regard to the situations of handicap met by the young people. So, the question of the sign language and the completed spoken language will have all its place in the project. The intercultural situation of exchange will be this way convenient to the development by the young people of complementary communication strategies, what will also contribute to the development of skills in this field.
