Dialysis therapy between Italy and Switzerland (DIALYSIS)

Renal impairment and dialysis treatment represent and increasingly important issue, with a strong social and economic impact. The project “DialysIS” aims to define optimum clinical protocols to be shared amongst the various sanitary operators so as to ensure high quality territorial and cross-border continuity to the access and treatment of dialysis. The project will create a web platform that will allow to check and update the clinical protocols carried out thus encouraging a cooperative approach between the different care centres involved. At the end of the project the web platform will contain the optimum protocols, that can be easily personalized, and will offer a second opinion to doctors that will request one.
