TERMINÉ
LIIS is an organization centered on the professional training of students in IT with over 1000 students. During the 4 years of highschool study at the profile mathematics- informatics the students learn topics related to webdesign, graphics, database administration. They have general knowledge from several fields in informatics but lack the practical skills of working in an European IT company. Upon graduation they lack the confidence to initiate their own business and as potential employees they do not meet the requirements for European professional experience and applied professional skills. The small and medium businesses from the community need to be better represented online. The project envisages possible solutions to these problems in the community.
The objectives of the project:
1. Developing webdesign skills at an European level and requirements;
2. Forming behavior requested on the labor market through direct contact with the specialists in a successful IT company;
3. Facilitating the transition of students to the labor market.
In the project there is one mobility of 32 students from the 10th grade from the profile mathematics- informatics, intensive informatics that is programmed to take place in two flows to assure a proper monitoring of participants and a quality training to them. The 2 flows will take place during 3 - 23 july 2016 and 4 - 24 september 2016. The target group is formed from students of 10th grade since they have already studied theoretical elements of webdesign in the 9th form and entrepreneurial skills in the 10th grade. In LIIS there are 6 classes of 10th grade having the profile mathematics- informatics, intensive informatics.
The students will perform the following activities under the guidance of the Spanish tutors, during the 3 week training in English:
- create dynamic sites, connect them to the social networks and search engines;
- create audio and video files on the products;
- organize and implement webinars with the Spanish specialists;
- retouch and optimize electronic banners;
- get accustomed to web development media;
- test the functionality of sites;
- create an electronic brochure for the presentation of the company products/ services;
- structure a business miniplan;
- create a portfolio of presentation for the business (site, logo, poster, electronic banners, electronic brochure).
In the implementation of the project the following stages will be followed:
- the work program will be negociated with the partner and the participants;
- LIIS will provide logistic support;
- monitoring instruments will be applied to the participants during the training;
- LIIS will continuously communicate with the National Agency and the partner, will assure the transparency, the capacity to manage risk situations.
- Upon return from the training dissemination activities will take place and the results will be permanently valued.
Results obtained by the participants:
- 32 students with improved IT skills for webdesign and oriented towards the requirements of European clients.
- 32 students with entrepreneurial skills centered on the initiation of their own business in the field of on- line marketing;
- the portfolios with IT resources for online advertising accomplished during the training.
- materials and the activity of the webdesign club.
Upon return from the training during the webdesign club students will work on sites and other electronic marketing resources to promote the school competition and events. The dissemination of the results will include the advertising of the project and its results in media. Throughout cooperation will be initiated with the Romanian and Spanish business environment.
In the long term the durability of the project will be assured through strategies of online marketing implemented by our students in the local companies. After graduation the students will initiate their own businesses in the field of the project.
