LIIS is an organization that centers on the IT professional training of students, with over 1000 students. During the 4 years of highschool in the specialization mathematics- informatics, informatics intensive, students are studying web-design, graphics, database administration themes. They have general knowledge from many fields of informatics but lack the practical skills needed for a working environment in an European IT company. The 32 participants at the training will develop the skills and abilities necessary for processing images, creating animations and flash, editing films at an European level, validated by the Europass mobility certificates.The portfolios achieved during the training and the skills which will be developed will represent the basis for the creation of the club, after the return from the mobility. The participants to enlist at the club sessions will be students from grades IX- XI whose passion is photo and video editing, dedicated to site posting. The achievements of LIIS will include the 32 students having abilities in editing multimedia abilities, who will become an important resource and contribute in their turn to the development of similar skills in other students. The creation of multimedia materials that have an educational purpose will add value to the modern educational strategies from the school, stressing the use of educational films in teaching and evaluating contents from various subjects. These will become examples of good practice and will be promoted in the methodical workshops of teachers and the student scientific reunions at the county level.The dissemination activities performed at the return from the training will contribute at the increase in the quality of the highschool’s activities.The main objectives of the project:1. Developing the skills for the editing of multimedia materials at an European level;2. Building behaviours required on the labour market through direct contact with IT specialists from a successful company; 3. Exercising practical skills for a better insertion on the labour market. In the project there is a mobility of a 32 students from the Xth grade from the specialization mathematics – informatics, informatics intensive, in two flows to assure a efficient monitoring of participants and a qualitative training for them. The 2 flows will take place from 18 June - 8 July 2017 and 3 - 23 September 2017. The students will be accompanied and monitored by 4 teachers from the school, if they are under the age of 18, during the training. The participants will be monitored by Spanish tutors. The training will encompass 90 hours, 6 hours every working day for 3 weeks and will envisage the development of skills in multimedia materials editing adapted to the needs of European clients, typical for the professional standard of web-designer, skills unit 13.The participants will perform the following activities under the guidance of Spanish tutors during the 3 weeks training in English:- using tools from Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe premier pro centered on processing images, creating animations and flash;- editing images, audio and video files;- creating clips (documentaries, editing, promo, video enhancements);- exercising video effects;- applying Photoshop for animations;- creating multimedia materials (poster on a resource basis, edited images/portraits/landscape, banner, logo, documentary/ presentation clip). The following stages will be followed in the implementation of the project:- negotiating the work program with the partner and the participants;- LIIS will assure the logistic support;- the participants will be monitored during the entire training;- LIIS will permanently discuss with the agency and the partner, will assure the transparency, the capacity to face risk situation; - dissemination activities will be organized and the results of the project will be valued permanently. Obtained results:- 32 students with developed skills in editing multimedia materials adapted to the requirements of the labour market;- the portfolios with multimedia materials created during the training;- the club for editing multimedia materials;- the materials and the activities created in the club for editing multimedia materials;- participating in events/ competitions.At their return from the training the participants will set the basis for the club of editing multimedia materials and will promote through students’ materials participating in competitions/ conferences, the skills of multimedia editing developed at an European level, necessary in the profession of webdesigner. The project and its results will be advertised and partnerships will be formed between the Romanian and the Spanish working environment. In the long term the durability of the project will be assured through the development of multimedia presentation strategies adapted to web posting and implemented by our students/ graduates in the local IT companies.
