The aim of the project is to start up a network between Tallinn and Helsinki regions' official institutions and trainers in order to develop cooperation in vocational training and professional certification. During the project the Finnish and Estonian vocational training and professional certification systems will be compared, which will provide a basis for comparing the curricula, the ways of training and the procedures of professional certification. A comparative analysis of professional standards, the content of national curricula and the procedures of professional certification in four areas will be conducted. Functioning networks of cooperation will be established. The created networks between the authorities responsible for the content of the training and the development of the professional certification system will facilitate student mobility between Estonia and Finland while taking into account the prior study and work experience, and create a basis for cooperation of systematic partnership.
