Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project encompasses four teachers at the basic and central modules within the Social and Health Care Education at The Social and Health Care College Funen. As a part of the international strategy to enhance the international dimension in the educations at the college The Social and Health Care College Funen wants to send out three to five teachers per. year for supplementary education abroad for one week Three of the teachers want to go to Leeds City College, England, to study how staff for care of the elderly, disabled and children are educated in England focussing on how different subjects are integrated in each other. The three teachers are also interested in obtaining knowledge about differences and similarities in Denamrk and England between the educations and conditions for educated staff in the social and health care area and child care area. Finally the teachers want to study how social and health care services work for individual citizens in UK. One teacher wants to go to Voss vidaregåande skule, Norway. Firstly to study how the social and health care education here is structured with regard to theory and practice. Secondly to study how Voss vidaregåande skule works together with their collaborators in practice. Thirdly to study the initiatives Voss vidaregåande skule undertakes to prevent dropouts and finally to study how they combine theory and practice in order to make teaching relevant with regard to practice. The overall expectation is that the teachers as a result of the course abroad will deveIop their interculturel competences thus contributing to fulfil the international strategy at Social and Health Care College Funen. It is furthermore expected that the teachers develop their knowledge and competences according to the focus areas of their course abroad. It is also expected that the teachers will be able to implement the knowledge they obtain during their course in England and Norway in their own teaching. Finally it is expcted that by sharing their knowledge with colleagues teaching in general will develop in the four teachers' teams and at the college. If it is considered to be relevant by the Principalship it is expected that the obtained knowledge is shared with collaborators in practice.
