Overall objective of the project- to increase the competitiveness of the border region and to improve conditions of the socio-economic cooperation in the Polish-Lithuanian border region, while rebuilding/reconstructing parts of the old local and district roads, leading from one state to another in the border region and while strengthening infrastructure development administrative capacities of the regional institutions. Immediate objectives of the project:- To prepare technical documentation on rebuilding/reconstruction of the border roads in the territory of Podlaskie voivodship; - To rebuild/reconstruct some road parts in the Polish territory up to the border with Lithuania, according to the prepared technical documentation;Project target groups-specialists of the territorial planning/regional development of the project partner institutions, inhabitants of the Polish-Lithuanian border area, tourists, business institutions which use border infrastructure for their economic activities.
