Development of natural habitats of volunteer flora and protected trees species on Ciuperca Hill - Oradea and in Korosszegapati - Hajdu-Bihor (CBC NATURAL-HAB)

The project aims to develop joint natural habitats in Oradea and in Korosszegapati, in order to conserve the protected trees and flora on Ciuperca Hill and it's surroundings and in Korosszegapati as well. The project has a great impact at local and regional level, as the new green and natural areas serve as recreational sites for tourists in Bihor-Hajdu Bihar Euro region, increasing the border region cohesion in the same time. The project also includes setting up access alleys, a place for open-air school (capacity of 240 in Oradea) and leisure activities. The tourist viniculture information points and the panoramic areas intend to offer tourist great views. The natural habitats will be highly promoted through actions such as: study-tour for travel agencies, elaborating of brochures that present both habitats and tourist routs to get to them, TV commercials in both counties regarding the natural habitats and including them in tourism circuits.The direct beneficiaries of the project are the 200.000 inhabitants of Oradea and 1.000 inhabitants from Körösszegapáti who will benefit from the natural habitat development. Another category of direct beneficiaries are the tourists whom visit the Euro region Bihar-Hajdú Bihar.The Indirect beneficiaries group comprises of local community from Bihar and Hajdú- Bihar, children's from schools and kindergartens from Bihor and Hajdú-Bihar, specialists in natural habitats and environmental organizations that can carry out research of natural habitats.
