In order to reduce damage by flood and to create equal capabilities for protection, it has become reasonable to prepare and implement dike reinforcement works along the section between the state border and Homorúd. Design works had to be launched from the state border, in the first phase in the section between 0+000-2+100 tkm within the territory of Bács-Kiskun County. Floods represent a frequent threat for people living at the side of waters. Preparations for protection play a great part in preventing and reducing damage, thereby also in loss settlement after destruction by flood.
