The project aimed to provide entrepreneurs of both counties with services of highstandards, at a uniform level, satisfying the multiple demands of the tourism market.Funding was used for training specialists working at the supply side of tourism –active, medicinal, and rural tourism – , who could exchange their experiences; in addition,joint tourist program packages were developed for the Euroregion with their activeinvolvement. As a result of common knowledge, tourism is expected to pick up and theeconomy – particularly the services industry – is expected to strengthen as well. All thisresults are primarily in the improved life conditions of the inhabitants of the region.
