Developing of VET in Lifelong Learning Context

The needs for this project stem from the desire of the management of the VЕТ Centre in Skopje to introduce the system of vocational education in the EU member state, to share experiences and knowledge and to learn how successfully to deal with the challenges facing similar institution in Croatia towards the modernization of the VET system in the country.
Secondary vocational education is a dynamic system that must be ahead of the needs of the economy, the labor market and to have flexible and to react successfully to a logistics processes of creating stuff that will be compatible with the dynamic changes in the economy. In this regard, it is necessary to introduce new methods and plans to work in teaching process, to introduce new educational professions, continuous teachers training and similar activities which the VET system will turn into a system partner of the economy. Therefore, if this study visit is made, the advisors of the VET Center will have the opportunity to learn and gain new experiences, skills and knowledge, different from the previous.
This study visit will be attended by 16 members, advisors from VET Centre from Skopje.
They will made a visit and also they will have discussions with the management of the Agency for Vocational Education and training and Adult education. Also the participants will visit the school, Chambers, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, State Examination Center etc.
Methodology in this project is based on conversations, discussions, presentations, round tables and so on.
The project will be a success because the advisors for occupations will gain competencies in certain aspects of vocational education and training in order to build a flexible system of vocational education and training compatible with such systems in the EU.
All competences which will be gained in this study visit will be disseminated in other relevant institutions in Republic of Macedonia, teachers involved in teaching processes etc.
