Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our project is contextualised in a school with a mostly new-inexperienced staff and students with low grade of motivation to continue with their secondary education studies, difficulty in the adquisition of knowledge in instrumental areas/ subjects and with a low - middle socio-economic and cultural family situation. The participants that are going to take part in this project, are two new incorporated teachers in this school, with a university education level and low teaching work experience. Competences and experiences implementation of this project are going to implement in subjects such as: Arts, Transversal Subjects, English and other subjects in the Primary Education Curricula. All tasks and activities will be adapted to cognitive and previous knowledge of our students. We have to take into account their capacities because we want that they achieve a significant learning. They develop through literature, storytelling , drama, role play and arts the knowledge of other cultures , times and customs. All in all, they will improve their oral and reading expression and increase their reading comprehension and in a enjoyable way. Developing these activities in the classroom, we try to reach a better foreign and mother tongue competence , English , world history knowledge and the use of ICT. Using of stories , tales and other storytelling whether on paper or digitally format promote the language development and language skills of our students, at the same time it helps them to understand the world around them or reconstructing specific circumstances if they are acting as a certain character . It is through the study of regional and univeral stories that children will be able to learn and create in their minds a culture reference that it is determined by the location of each story. The methodology starts from the previous knowledge of the pupils based on the investigation and experimentation in a dynamic, participatory and playful way. So we have to adapt and approach the contents to the level and difficulties of our students. As a manipulative, ludic and interactive material, we will use ICT as an innovative resource; hand-made material for our students in the classroom; documents, books and texts adapted to carry out dramas, readings and role-plays; we will use varied authentic material (realia) to create situations and contextualize new knowledge through songs, videos and photographies; we will visit different entities such as local theatres as way to set, motivate and widening knowledge. Our intention is to use our experiences and knowledge learned in our stay to develop an European project through e- twinning platform , and we intend to apply and implement in the classroom, because of that we consider that creating a project in e- twinning platform is the best way that we can utilize to disseminate within our network of teachers in Europe. The impact that we are looking for in our students, it is mainly that they can know different realities to yours in a fun, different and enjoyable way. With all the effort that are making to carry out this project, we expect that it is useful to other colleagues. The potential short/long term benefits that we expect, it will be an improvement in the four basic language skills and a greater interest in completing their mandatory secondary education studies with good academic outcomes because we expect with this kind of active and participatory activities, they awake their intrinsic motivation.
